Very sad.
NYC has closed all subways, airports within a 25 mile radius, train and bus lines. My sister-in-law just called from NYU and said no one seems to think it was a terriost act, but rather mechanical failure. God Bless those people on the plane, the ground and their families.

You have to wonder how much more those poor people in New York can take. Just as they start to heal from Sept. 11, this happens. So sad.

what is even more sad is that the neighborhood that the plane crashed in, is the home to many of nyc's firefighters , etc...many of whom lost their lives in the sept 11th tragedy. you have to wonder how much more they can take.

Hey everyone...
My Uncle Kenny and my Aunt Maureen live in the Far Rockaways. His neighborhood lost some 75-100 people in the WTC tragedy and now this. My entire family is from, and lives in, NY. This has been such an emotional year...very stressful. At times I hate the fact that I'm so far away, here in AZ, while they're all there.
I'm very saddened by all of this.

I really hope this isn't another act of terrorism. I don't think we can take another terrorist attack so soon after the last one.

They said it was an accident. If there is going to be anymore acts of terrorism, my guess would be the golden gate bridge, or some where in the mid west. Like the St Louis arch.

It reminds me of the biblical saying."In the blink of an eye..." My prayer list is getting very, very long.

Im just a little freaked out now, although it is most likely a "routine" plane crash, I will be in NYC in less than a week, premiering a piece at Carnegie Music Hall.... ahhhhhhhhh!

Very nerve racking indeed. Just as everyone is beginning to feel safe, ready to fly again and just getting back to the way of life, something else happens. Well the only we can do is pray fro all those who lost thier lives and those who lost a loved one. Always live today like it's the last and always tell your loved ones you LOVE them and always wish and hope for the best for others.
