Hey whats up every one, my names steve and starting in the spring im going to be vice president of the Phi Kappa Tau chapter at Pace University. I came on here for some help because lately for the past few semesters we have been having problems with getting large pledge classes and I was hoping that some of you could maybe help me with some good rush ideas. We are a small school also so that sometimes can acount for the small classes but all ideas are welcome. Thank you very much.
How big is your school, and how many Greek Organizations do you have? Being in a competitive environment definitely changes your organization's strategy.
Also, who are you looking for? There are a thousand ways to get "more" people to join, but you need to find out who you want before you figure out how.

Yeah, your target and environment is extremely important. Taking generic ideas and just throwing them won't work.
One piece of advice that generally applies all over, though, is: people join an organization for what it is or what it provides them, they don't join an organization for the cool events. After all, they can get that by rushing again next semester.
