Wearing the insignia of a group not on campus during recruitment?

This title comes off a lot worse than my actual question...

Basically, I know that you wouldn't want to wear any symbols of chapters that are on your campus for recruitment (i.e. given the popularity of anchors, it's very likely that many girls who aren't DGs or ASTs own things that have anchors on them...but they wouldn't want to wear them for recruitment if those groups were on their campus). However, I own a Tiffany key necklace that was given to me as a birthday present a few years ago; I know that the key is a Kappa symbol (though obviously, that has nothing to do with why I have it), and my campus doesn't have a chapter of Kappa. Is it okay to wear during recruitment, or should I steer clear of it to be safe? It's one of my favorite necklaces, so I just wanted to make sure before I start shopping for and planning outfits (recruitment at my school isn't until a few weeks into fall semester).
