UWF Recruitment?

Hey everyone i showed my friend this site and she wanted me to post a question, hopefully you guys can help her out.

She's going to be a junior transfer at University of West Florida, she wants to know if anyone is familiar with UWF's recruitment, and if so is there any advise you could lend to her?

Hey notYourOrdinary! As a current sorority member at UWF, here's some information...

There are 4 NPC sororities on campus (Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Chi Omega, and Phi Sigma Sigma). There is also one local sorority and 3 NPHC sororities.

Fall recruitment has already ended and all four NPC sororities met or exceeded quota this year. Although UWF's recruitment isn't very competitive, there are some girls every year that don't receive bids. In the past few years there have been two chapters that participate in informal spring recruitment. Spring recruitment is pretty casual and is usually at the end of January or the beginning of February.

The best source of information would be from the Greek affairs web site, at uwf.edu/greekaff (they also have a Facebook page). If your friend is interested in going through spring recruitment, I would suggest that she contact Greek affairs first to see which chapters are participating, and then contact the individual chapters. The chapters usually put up banners all over campus, so it's pretty easy to figure out who is having spring recruitment and who isn't.
