Hello ladies,
Krista from Alpha Mu sent an e-mail out to myself (Nu Chapter) and Kelly from Alpha Epsilon hoping to get our group rolling. I thought that our own board here would be a great starting point.
Things here at Colorado State have been very busy. The last time I stopped to look at a calander it was still September and now here comes November just zooming on in. We have our big philanthropy coming up very soon. You all should be hearing about it in the next week. We are hoping to gain some national support for a scholarship fund to use at the National Western Stock Show. Last year we raised about $200 and along with help from Waste Management and a few other companies, were able to bid on a hog at the Junior livestock auction. The majority of the money bid goes to the girl who showed the hog and a small portion went to other scholarships given out by the NWSS. But as I said, you all will be hearing more about that soon.
I'm excited to hear what activities you all have been up to. I look forward to hearing more from our group.

I'm so glad that we finally got something going here! The Alpha Mu Chapter at the University of Illinois has been extremely busy! We were unable to make it to National Convention because it was our homecoming weekend. We had two member on the Homecoming Court and that is more than any other sorority on campus! Right now we are prepping for the activation of our Gamma Class, a National Board Visit and next semesters recruitment weekends. We would also like to get our bylaws updated before I leave office in December. If any of you could send me a copy of yours to look at I would really appreciate it!
