Question for the guys:
have any of you gotten in fights with non-greeks just because you were wearing letters?
Last night some engineers tried to pick a fight with my bro and I after I smoked one of them at air hockey. They didn't even know there were fraternities here, that's how small the greek community is. PR is very important, what little people see of greeks can't be negative. Obviously i was like, no i'm not fighting with my letters on.
It started to heat up, but luckily my bro settled everything down and we had a couple beers with them. It was stupid that they wanted to fight because we wearing letters, has anyone else had something like this happen to them?

I had a girl start calling me names in a restaurant one time, in a city I was visiting. Appearently she was an ex pledge of a chapter of my sorority so she had something against all girls in my GLO. It was akward but honestly I just thought she was some whacko. Definitly strange though.

This happens more often than people think
Right after I crossed the sands--i had neo fever-- almost never left home without an AKA
tshirt on. There were several instances of young ladies saying rude things and once I was strollin (a line dance w/ my sorors) and a girl walked right up and pushed me
I didn't fight with her-- I told the cops and filed charges

But these things still happen and I have been an AKA for almost 6 years now.. and recently a grown woman that I work with stopped speaking with me because she saw the tag on my car...
I asked her point black what was wrong and she said "I didn't know you were one of those stuck up b@*!'s
I just laughed because that is so stupid..

People's hang ups are their problem not yours

I havta really agree on this one. Soror Loviest95 good for you for not slappin the beotch... I'm proud of you!

Folks are just skrait jealous that we can bond with other and they cannot. I just havta say that. I got called on in another message board the folks are just not of pedigree when they curse us greeks out. It's plain stupid. 'Cuz if folks knew the good we do, then they wouldn't complain. Some thangs just would have never changed if folks in GLO's didn't stand up for what they thought was wrong... One being my Soror Rosa Parks...

Now to all those haters out there. Don't hate. Because if you hate, it indicates that you ain't got no game. You ain't gettin any and if you are it ain't any good. 'Cuz if you were and it was good, then you'd have no reason to hate...
