My pledge sister is in NYC right now and she posted a status about walking by the car and hoping it wasn't a terrorist attack.

I feel like there's constantly a bomb threat in Times Square.

Two years ago, a friend and I were in NYC for spring break. The morning we left, we started getting texts asking if we were okay or if we'd gotten hurt. Turns out there was an explosion in Times Square the night before....an hour after we'd left. It was thought to be a bomb but turned out to be a freak explosion in an area that was under construction. We'd walked right past it that night.....very creepy. We considered ourselves very blessed to have our health that morning because that could've ended badly had we not left when we did.

Seeing pics of an empty TS was very eerie. I got chills.

Earlier on Saturday the Revlon Walk/Run for Women's Cancers was held. SOOOO many people were there.

Very glad everything turned out ok. Applause to the NYPD once again.
