Wisconsin Greeks
Just wondering (and this might be a "cheesy" questions) how many of you out there were/are a part of the Wisconsin Greek system? I rarely here much about the Greek scene there....

Hey...
I am a Tri Delta at The Univerisity of Wisconsin-Madison. It is true that you probably do not hear much about the Greek system in Wisconsin, it is not as popular as what it may be in other places. At Madison we are about 4,000 strong (out of 40,000 students). Not too shabby if you ask me! We have 11 Panhellenic sororities and about 30 IFC frats. Are you from Wisconsin?

ElleDelta -
I am from Wisconsin, although I am at Arizona State. I have a friend who was a Delta at UW Madison about 4 years ago named Sherri Tews.

greek life in wisconsin seems to be bigger at uw-madison..but the other schools greek life is much smaller...i.e. the school I attend, UW-Milwaukee.
Many of the frats and sors are local..but there are some nationals on campus
TKE, GPB, PSK, ODP, Triangle, and a few others.

Did anyone ever catch the MTV Spring Break close-up? They followed four girls around during their Spring Break and most of them were from Wisconsin?!?! I was just curious if they were greek or if anyone from there knew them?

About that MTV comment...yes they are in the greek system and NO(!!!!) they are not Tri Deltas. Last spring break the 4 girls were in AE Phi and the year before at least one of them was an AXO. For some reason, MTV always chooses UW-Madison students to be on their spring break specials. I think it is because we have such an early break every year...that is the rumor anyway...or perhaps it is that Madison has a tendency to have alot of wild drunk kids...you make the call.
