I love See's Candies!

Milk Chocolate Bordeaux - I can get high off these!
Divinity Puffs - Truly heavenly
Milk Chocolate peanuts
Chocolate Lollypops

What's sad is that I can't get See's Candies out here in Illinois. That's a perk reserved just for the West Coast.

Well, you have to make friends that live on the west coast so that they can send you some!

I've never had See's Candy (that I know of), but you can get some here. There's a local candy store, Sarris Candies that puts others to shame. They've only started shipping their chocolate within the past 5-6 years. It's amazing!

i Love Scotchmallows and Dark Butterchews, closely followed by the Chocolate and Butterscotch Lollypops. I buy Lollypop boxes every December when the See's Candy kiosk opens in our local mall. Unfortunately you can't get a box of just Scotchmallows, or I'd stock up!

Our tongues are twins...the first three you listed are by far my favorite three.

I used to really like the Mint Truffle, but haven't gotten it recently. I LOVE See's more than life, it honestly makes even Godiva look cheap and gross. Any candy store that gives a free sample every time you come in is fine by me.

I can't believe I forgot about the milk chocolate balls they sell during the holidays!! They melt in your mouth, it's like eating liquid chocolate. Those are the tastiest damn things in the whole store.

My favorites are
Coconut Special (dark chocolate)
Bridge Mix (my MIL got me addicted to it)
Peanut butter patties
Also their lollypops are da bomb

Slight hijack
Story: My MIL was a MAJOR chocoholic. The first time she came down to California to visit us, we presented her with gift certificates for 2 lbs. of See's.
Yeah, we released a monster--I dragged her out of there kicking and screaming (she got more free pieces than anyone I knew)
Whenever DH flew up to Vancouver to visit her, she would say "IF IT IS NOT TOO MUCH TROUBLE, can you bring me some See's?" (yeah, he wouldn't get past her front door if he didn't bring See's)

After one of her visits, we got a list in the mail:

Of course, she wasn't hinting
The last box she got was last February. She couldn't eat it (or barely anything else for that matter, thanks to pancreatic cancer). That's when I realized her time was about up (she died 3 weeks later)...
I read that note at her memorial service--it got a good laugh.

The Cafe Latte lollypops. We can get them here on the east coast if you know where to go.

Hiiiiii Jill!

Now I've gone and done it. I ordered a pound of See's Candy! A pound!!!!

Question: Can you gain more than a pound of fat from one pound of chocolates? If it's only a pound I can handle that.

Thanks a lot for the link, Honey. j/k

Anyone in the NE Ohio area knows that Malley's >>> See's.

The best chocolates I've ever had, however, are the ones my dad brings me when he goes to Belgium on business. Oh. My. God.

But I do agree that See's makes Godiva seem gross (however, I think Godiva is pretty gross in general).

Jill, thanks for sharing that story about your MIL. That list was so cute!

I don't know that I've ever had See's, but anything that includes chocolate and toffee/caramel/butterscotch gets my vote for favorite, with chocolate-peanut butter running a very close second.
