Borders vs Barnes & Noble

Borders is the crack of my life.

I love and have always been a Borders fan but I'm getting a Nook so I'll be shifting my business to B&N.

Borders...especially since they dominate this region

Our Borders was always in the mall and our BN is a big stand-alone so here at least I'm BN. When I get gift cards for Christmas for Borders I spend them online with the big 40% off coupons. It's awesome.

I do have a BN membership still and mostly feel like it's not worth it right now, but it's paid for so eh.

In short, doesn't really matter as long as they have the books I want.

I love both and get the "little kid on Christmas Day" look in my eyes when Live-in suggests going to a book store. I try not to go on my own because I'll walk out with $200 worth of books (it's happened). I love the book section of every discount retail store, and I will spend HOURS browsing online, mostly on Amazon.

Book learnin' is fun.

And pay full price?! MEH, I prefer Half Priced Books... When I lived in FL though, Borders Books and Music saved my life many a day and I was there upon opening sitting on their back patio. lol So If I MUST choose, I choose them!

I perfer Half Priced Books too. That way I can justify spending tons of money for books. I also like the library as well. They have great used book sales. If I had to choose, it would be BN because I spend so much time there.

We don't have HPB here. We do have Books-A-Million, which is adequate, but no Borders.

I like Barnes and Nobles for writing; they generally have all of these cozy little nooks.

I like Borders for shopping; plus I have a reward card, so I am always getting coupons.
