Howdy all fellow GCers!!
I'm from the south (South Carolina to be exact) and, as you may know, we Southerners have unique ways of saying things. Yes, I'm a college-educated woman and do know correct English. However oftentimes I find myself using my old down-home dialect. It's as if I speak another language at times. I've even found that most of my friends and even my clients enjoy hearing me speak. They say that they love my accent. Personally, I don't hear any accent (but to each his own)

. So, having said that, just for laughs, what are some of the different and/or outrageous things that you've said (if you're a Southerner) or you've heard your friends from the South say? But before I write some of my responses, I'd just like to say... SOUTHERNERS ARE WONDERFUL!!!!!!
And remember this is to embrace the uniqueness of the south. This is NOT a time for bashing.
