Yay Mel! You had some beautiful running weather today- high 50's/low 60's, a light breeze, and sun. Who would have believed that after we had such a crappy weather day yesterday?

Thanks all! Weather was perfect and the race itself was great -- I kind of crashed and burned in the last 6 miles. I missed several weeks of training when I had the swine flu. But I still had a fantastic day!

Congrats on your finish. I have supported one of my friends through marathons, triathlelons and even one ironman. I would get chills everytime she crossed the finishline. I will get to see the remnants of Sunday's race in a couple of hours -- heading back into DC.
