WHAT TO DO?
I have a friend ( and yes, i do mean a friend) who is researching sororities. There is a multicultural org and an NPHC she's lookin at. so she went to the websites, did sum reaserch and the MGC stated that if you had any questions or comments to e-mail them. Her e-mail wanted to know basic info u know, like what are the credit hours needed before joining and whatever, but now she's invited a private meeting and doesn't know if this is good because she's is still choosing. I'm not in a sorority so i can't help her. Is it okay for her to go to this social if she is still deciding?

why did your friend (im going to believe it's a friend for sake of argument) come here and ask herself?
and what else did she ask in this "credit hours and whatever?" because she should know how many credits she needs to be eligible from their website (or am i assuming that they have a legit website and that info is common knowledge).

"Her friend" -- haha
The university should have requirements. If there's any doubt, she could also visit the organization's website.

If it is a friend, then why are u asking on the site instead of her? And if it is you like suspect, maybe you should learn proper spelling and grammer before worrying about going greek.
On a non snarky note, the purpose of a private meeting is probably going to be in an interview sort of format, so that she and the sorority rep can both ask questions. I don't see anything wrong with going. You aren't committing unless you go through the pledge/new member/ whatever it might be called ceremony or so I would think.

On some campuses, attending one org's formal rush/interview can be taboo and can look unfavorable upon an aspirant to the NPHC org in question if she has shown/plans to show interest to the NPHC org in question - can't speak for the MCG.

Usually means the same thing with NALFO and MGC organizations.

Your "friend" should not go to this meeting unless she has decided for sure that she wants to pursue the multicultural sorority.
