A question for the guys.
Would you go into Victoria's Secret to buy you gf undies by yourself? If I did I would let everyone know that I was buying a gift for my gf. Otherwise I would be afraid everyone would think I was a perv.

LOL...great question man...I've actually been in victoria's secret a few times by myself....luckily I know a few of the girls that work at the one in the mall that I go to (a few of them are gamma phis). I've bought gifts there for girls that are really good friends too...because damn..i think all girls love that store....

just be cool about it. They assume that it is a gift. If you have a question about size, however, make sure you say "i wonder if this will fit her" if you say only "i wonder if this will fit" that causes speculation.

I'd be calm about it... that's really not a problem at all.
Girls, what would you think if you worked there and a guy bought underwear big enough to fit him??
Let me qualify that:
1) What would you think if he didn't say "Yeah these are for me!!"
2) What would you think if he said "Uh... these are for my lady-friend?"

I used to work at Contempo, and we sold underwear among other things. We mostly had club clothing, so bottom line is that there was nothing in there that a guy would buy for himself.
Usually, if a guy came in alone, we immediately went to offer him help, because we assumed he was buying a gift for someone else. They would tell us right off the bat that they were buying a gift, and I never had any reason not to believe one of them.
One guy even busted out a picture of his girlfriend, hoping that I would be able to judge her bra size.
Of course, it got a little sketchy when one dude picked out a leather mini-skirt and tube top, and asked me to try them on because "his girlfriend is about the same size."
If you plan to buy your girl something at Vicki's, enlist the salesgirl's help right away, it will make things so much easier.

One time, a buddy and I went into Victoria's Secret (this was like 8th grade mind you) . . . we pretended to be shopping for a girl, but instead my buddy Brad jacked the tape out of the VCR they had rolling, with a whole deal about their new line, and models, well, modelling it. Well . . . he wasn't too smooth about it, so we got a stern talking to from the manager from V's S and the head mallcop. What a fiasco:
RENTACOP: "Boys, you know stealing is wrong right?"
US: "Uhh . . .yeah?"
RENTACOP: "And you know boys your age shouldn't see this sorta thing, right?"
US: "uhh . . . can we go? This is way too weird."
Stupidest ish ever.

No problem going into VS to buy something. It happens to them all the time, especially around Valetines Day and Christmas. As an aside, it is MUCH more fun to go with the gf to shop so she can try things on for your approval, not 'undies' necessarily, but they have some really cute teddies and camisoles.

Online store? Give me a break....there's some things ya just gotta do in person that makes life worth living. This also includes picking up and dropping off pornos without trying to conceal it.
Summary comments afterwards are always the best: i just never got into it.

Well said, there are some things that you should do in person rather than wimping out. Just go into the store, why the hell not? Online stores are like cheating because you are only cheating yourself out of the expirience.

Hahahaha my friend's ex bf not only entered a Victoria's Secret to buy her lingerie but he brought along four of our guy friends. OMG I just cracked up when I heard that story. Imagine five high school guys, all gangster like in their baggy denim pants & baseball caps, pondering which perfume she'd like best.

See, thats whats cool, you have to expirience these kinds of embarrassing moments rather than shy away from them

yea...kind of like this time last year when a few friends and I were bar hopping and we ended up at a gay bar. We walked in and it was all guys, it was like we were in a movie and the music quit playing, and every guy was standing there looking at us. Needless to say, we busted a quick 180 and got the funk out!
