Looking for a book that was previously mentioned

Ok, I've searched on here and using the google search method and I can't find it anywhere!

In the last month or so there were a few posts in a thread about a book written by a sorority woman that was fiction, lighthearted and funny. Several GCers said her books were good to read. Does anyone have any clue about the author's name and/or title?

Gah! This is driving me crazy that I can't find this!

Pretty in Plaid is good, but there are actually only a few chapters that deal with recruitment - it wasn't what I expected. She is a very humorous writer though so I am going to look for some of her other books - several have been best sellers.

I'm pretty sure it was Pretty in Plaid. Thanks for the reminder; I've been meaning to pick up the book myself.

I'll just plug my own sister for a minute. If you like murder mysteries that are also a light read, the Scumble River series (there's 11 books so far) by Denise Swanson is good. The main character is an Alpha Sig alumna who is a school psychologist. They have made a couple of best seller lists.
