Gifts for SO's

There has probably been a thread on this already, but what are some cool gifts you have given to significant others? I know that people go nuts every time they have to buy something for a birthday or anniversary, so maybe we could share some ideas.

My all-time favorite multi-purpose gift: gift certificates for the massage parlor

Fish are always a good gift, too.

take the SO to a fun place...somewhere they've never been...

I borught a girl to Ed Debevic's once..I don't know if any of you know what it is..or if there is another franchise anywhere..but it's a huge restaurant where the waiters and waitresses dress up like hollywwod icons (marilyn monroe, james dean etc.) and the interior decorations consist of booths inside of old chevys and stuff like that..but the catch is...everthing is loud, and ppl are rude..the waiters and waitresses are supposed to be rude..and you can be rude back...the food is great...the mood is good...but you can't go crabby, or you will get severly pissed off

Coolest gift: Star registry, it will name a star after your SO. Nice and official it goes into the books that way. Who knows maybe some day we'll colonize around that star with your SO's name, or maybe aliens will come and wipe us out . . . depends on how your relationship turns out.

WArning: Make sure the relationship is going all the way! Because Its probably tacky to name a awhole bunch of stars after a series of failed SO"s, although its a great way to keep score. Also, it might be annoying to be reminded of someone who turned out to be a loser that slept with your best friend every time you look up into the Northern quadrant of the sky!

I have the theme parks nearby so my favorite thing to do is buy two tickets to Disney, Epcot, Universal, etc. That way, the two of us can just spend the day together.

Just get something thats very personal and if they truely love you it will mean more to them than anything else.

I always go with something that they would want (DUH!), but also something that they might not go out and buy for themselves. Something that only you can provide, possibly something handmade, is sure to be very special as well.
