I cannot think of a good black sitcom, but I did love City of Angels.

I never found Martin to be funny.
Girlfriends: When Joan finally got proposed to.
Good Times: When JJ got shot part II, when James visits the shooter in jail and feels sorry for him.
A Different World: The first Kappa Lambda Nu episode
The Game: No particular favorite moment yet.
The Cosby Show: The episode where Theo came back and all his stuff was gone and everybody pretended it was a rooming house.

Martin not funny? That's blasphemy, kid...
I used to like GF when Toni was on. When she left, they seemed like they were stretching a bit.

I don't know of any good black tv shows.. if so they are over-ruled by black reality tv.. I do like "The Game" but I hardly ever get to see it since its been moved to Friday nights.
|
I've seen a few episodes of The Game but couldn't really get into it.
Just thought of some more moments!
Living Single - When Kyle sings My Funny Valentine to Max
Fresh Prince - When Lisa is pledging and holds Will in the woods
Martin - When Pam gets hypnotized and starts acting like Martin
But I think my favorite is from the Cosby Show when the family is celebrating the grandparents' anniversary. Rudy was killing it LOL

Lincoln Heights is a "good black show" that is still on the air (ABC Family).

Who remembers that episode of Fresh Prince where Lisa is pledging her sorority and locks Will in the cage . Not that part, but the outtakes where Carleton is running across all of the sets like a mad man. That makes me lol to this day.
Fresh Prince had a lot of good moments.
I never found Martin that funny either. (Except for Brothaman from the fifth--holding up four fingers--floor.)

I can't believe that no one has mentioned "What's Happening?"
I LOVED Dee. I swear I went to grade school with that girl.

That's a great episode. I miss Fresh Prince.
My favorite episode is when Will is trying to teach Ashley how to fight, to defend herself against a school bully. She's twitching and going "mind ya business...justjust mind ya business." My roommates used to go around doing that. LOL!
