On November 17, 1911, three undergraduates of the junior class in the School of Liberal Arts at Howard University--Edgar A. Love, Oscar J. Cooper and Frank Coleman, with the assistance of faculty advisor, Professor Ernest E. Just--founded the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., the first national fraternity founded at an HBCU. Ninety-seven years later, the legacy of Omega is still strong and vibrant on campuses and in communities all over the nation and the world. God bless the Fraternity and the principles upon which it was founded!
