it's a good day for Phi Mu in the Mitten!

Tonight was our bid night. We ended up with four, possibly five (one got an extension on her bid acceptance to check with her parents) new Phis tonight, and all of them are pretty much amazing! I can't wait to see them involved in the house. I'm hoping that by some miracle I can take a little!

Also, today was the Rho Eta colony's bid day - anybody know how that panned out? Our chapter is right next door, so a lot of us really want to get involved in the colony stuff.

Bids go out at 12:00 noon! Wish us luck. Last time I checked, there were 179 women who had expressed interest and completed at least part of the recruitment activities.

I'm brand new to the boards--brand new to greek life! But at our bid day yesterday at GVSU, myself and 82 other girls were welcomed into the fold.

Our first meeting is tomorrow. =)

I know we have been doing an amazing job at expansion this year and I'm sure that everyone here is mighty glad to have GVSU on board!

That was the bid day theme at Lynn, too. I guess with 4 colonizations in the year's time, they decided it might be easier to do make do with one t-shirt bulk order!

I'm so excited that GVSU picked up Phi Mu! I had heard that we presented there (some of my chapter sisters were presenters) but I didn't know that we got it! Congrats! And 82 new members?? WOW! That's the biggest chapter in Michigan! Congrats and wishing you luck to a successful year! And be on the lookout for my lil sis Kimmy. She's one of the National membership people... I can't remember her exact title... but I know that she'll be very helpful with anything you guys need. (that is if GVSU is one of her schools which I think it is)
