I went to a VERY liberal Performing Arts school from 4th grade up until I graduated. All my close friends either went JC or to colleges where Greek Life is small and/or the school is antigreek. I had a friend go Pi Kapp at CSUN and a friend went KA at UCR, but they both dropped out of college. Here at my school, a friend of mine from HS went into a wonderful multicultural sorority (Upsilon Kappa Delta, we're paired up with them for Greek Week) and a girl I knew in HS went Theta (also our GW partners
) but as far as I know she doesn't go here any more.
With all that, most of the people I'm still in contact with say two things: 1) They never thought I'd join a fraternity, 2) they always want to know what Greek life is like. It sucks sometimes telling them that what they see on MTV is bullshit.
So, anyway, you ever find out any of your friends from HS went Greek?
