I've lived in Texas, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Arizona.

OTW, I've always heard the price of living is really high in Hawaii, is that true, because I'd love to live there, if only for a few years.

In a way that's true, but I see it as no different than living in big cities like LA, NYC, Chicago, etc. To me, it's worth it because there's nothing like growing up here. I can't think of anywhere else where I want to raise my kids.
