Muslim childreen gassed at Dayton Mosque after Obsession DVD hits Ohio

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-..._b_130076.html

I just have no words for this...this shows the amount of disrespect people have towards other walks of life, the fact that a DVD could SCARE people into performing these actions is in itself a worry.

This, apparently, is what the scare tactic political campaigning of John McCain's supporters has led to -- Americans perpetrating a terrorist attack against innocent children on American soil
OKAY, I read the article. What happened is awful, terrible. But, the article is so slanted and ridiculous that it is insulting to one's intelligence.

The Huffington Post used to be fairly respectable, but it has gone the way of the National Inquirer. Not responsible journalism.

We don't even know for sure if the DVD had anything to do with the attack.

The attack is bad no matter what, but it seems like one would want a stronger link than simply that DVDs had been distributed in the state.

That's pretty awful yeah, but do your credibility a favor and link to the article of the Dayton newspaper (an actual journalistic source) and not the Huffington Post in the future.

The newspaper has the sense to not make the metaphoric blind leap off the edge of a canyon that the Huffington Post was so eager to make by implying that this has anything to do with the DVD or (the even bigger jump) the McCain campaign.

Also, as bad as it was, "a chemical irritant" means pepper spray. That's being a pain in the ass, not "gassing" someone.

That is so horrible. And so NOT the way to combat fundamentalism or terrorism.

I feel the same way about the Daily Show (which used to be my FAVORITE show) and Real Time with Bill Maher. I'm still going to see Religulous next week though.

I still get a chuckle from Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert, but Bill Maher makes me want to throw up.

Religulous looks pretty funny, but I'll wait til it comes out on DVD. It doesn't pass my "big screen test" which includes either space travel, huge explosions, or unbelievably beautiful scenery/cinematography

Saw it last night....hilarious and disturbing! Don't think Bill Maher's call for all athiests and agnostics to unite is gonna work out, though!
