Liam Neeson's "Taken"

That movie was a bad ass. Sure the first 20 minutes was painiful and a drag, but afterward, nothing but pure kick ass, shoot em up, take no prisoner kind of movie.

8/10

Where he reminded him what a loaded gun felt like versus an unloaded gun?

Thanks for the review, my hubby and I are going to see it tonight and I really haven't heard much but the commercials. Now, I'm looking forward to it (before, I was just going to appease the spouse )

Sometimes I don't like action movies. The only James Bond films I'm ever interested in are the ones with Sean Connery. I send live-in by himself or with his brother to most action movies.

I loved this movie.

You're going to love it. Be forwarned, the first 20 minutes is a drag and has little to do with the rest of the movie. After the daughter get kidnap, then it's hours of bad ass.

Samuel L. Jackson go nothing compare to Liam Neeson.

What I've learned in Taken:

You can easily imitate a french cop using a British accent and nobody can tell the difference.

Never say Good Luck to Liam Neeson.

There was violence, but not a lot of blood and gore. I thought it was good.

Saw it - LOVED it! Edge of the seat excitement!!

We took my 17 year old and a friend and they loved it too. Great movie.

Our observation was that he didn't ever pull the knock out the bad guys and hope they don't come to, he just flat out killed them. And, WOW, he meant business with that French crooked cop - no threat of hurting the wife - just boom!

Somehow I smell a Chuck Norris type joke coming out of this.

Liam Neeson doesn't threaten your wife - he shoots her?
