Hi out there!

I was watching part of this sermon last night and plan to read the book. I'm impressed with Bishop Jakes leading discussions and providing guidance on critical analysis in decision making that can impact your life spiritually, emotionally, and financially.

I wish more pastors would address these kinds of topics with their congregations

The book appears to have a section on 'Before You Join Exclusive Clubs' where he mentions conducting a 'cost-benefits analysis.'

he was discussing this book on a local radio show last week. it sounds fantastic.

i especially like how he pointed out that some people don't use critical (or any) thinking before they jump into things. they *claim* God led them to do this or that and relinquish personal responsibility for making rash choices.

this is on my must read list.

I want to read it. I heard him on the SHMS. Whenever I get time, I'll buy it. After that, I'll need to find time to read.
