Wayne Brady Show

This is the DUMBEST show I have EVER seen!

If I'm correct it comes on Wednesdays @ 8pm(Central Time) on ABC. Its a variety show with skits and musical performances. Wayne Brady is a Black male and I believe the only Black person on the show. Go figure since the show is named after him. Well I did see part of an episode where he had Brian McKnight on there. I know there have been numerous discussions about the protrayal of Blacks in the media yet I'm wondering how orgs like NAACP and NUL are viewing this show. Tell me what you think if you've seen the show.

O MY...I don't have time to watch TV like I used to...but that sounds awful!

Soror, what is so different from this show and other sitcoms (comedies) that have black actors/actresses? I've seen the show. Martin, In Living Color...I think they were harsher than this. I don't see where your anger is coming from. Help me out.

To be honest I really enjoyed In Living Color because it had a people from all backgrounds and I didn't see that show as depicting Blacks in a negative light. Everyone was subjected to jokes on that show. Martin....you got me there. But I was just repulsed by Wayne Brady and I don't how else to put it. He had this big "watermelon" grin on his face that got to me....
