Recs if you don't know who is recruiting...?!

I'm transferring schools in spring (to UGA) and while I know that the majority of chapters there don't participate in Greek Life, I know that recs are always a good idea..but UGA doesn't announce who is eligible for Spring Recruitment until the 21st of January, right before informal starts.


So in that case...Just how exactly do you go about requesting recs if you aren't sure who is even recruiting? I'd really like to have some, I know a few girls who are alums of sororities that UGA also has (I'd rather have recs from people who I know personally, is that weird? or unnecessary? It just seems like the better thing to do..) but I'm not sure who to ask...and I'd like to get on it ASAP!

Maybe you can get recs for everyone who is represented on campus even though you may not end up using them all.
