National Treasure 2
I hadn't heard about this before today. I don't know if it will ever be as good as the first one, but I will go to see it....
Any thoughts....

Hmm this actually looks interesting, I mean, national treasure isn't my favorite movie of all time, but it was entertaining. I think it's cool that they got ALL the original actors to come back, I think it has the same director too, and of course jerry Bruckheimer, who works so well with Nicholas Cage and puts out great action movies.

I saw the previews for the second one and it looks really good. I liked the first National Treasure, so hopefully i'll like the second.

I loved it! I also loved the first one and have seen it a million times. I'll probably be going back again in the next couple of days.

I plan to see it by the weekend. I'm somewhat hoping that this becomes a "franchise" movie, but the historian in me disagrees with the conceptual innocence of Nicholas Cage's character's ancestor in this one.

The kids and I saw it yesterday and they both thought it was better than the first one. I thought it was kind of predictable (I think the 'answers' fall in too easily.. but then, it's a two hour movie so they kind of have to). I do enjoy these movies and I think they're fun.

I liked it, very good sequel. What I didn't like was that Goofy short.

Ok so I went and saw it yesterday....I liked it, but I felt like there was a lot missing. The connection to reality that was there in the first one really seemed to be lacking in this one. I also felt like I was going to have to watch the movie a couple times to understand everything.
After seeing it I have a few questions and yes these might spoil it if you have no seen it yet...
1. I really don't understand why Ed Harris' character was so determined...
2. The President confused me....
3. WHAT THE HECK IS ON PAGE 47!!!?!!?!?!

That's for us to find out in National Treasure 3!! Saw the movie twice already (had to see it opening night and my mother in law wanted to see it on Christmas) and I thought it was pretty good. I prefer the first one for more historical references, but this was a nice sequel.
They really did leave it open for another movie with letting us wonder about page 47.

I guess I'm the only one that thought it sucked then. It was so predictable and cheesy, it followed the exact same storyline as the first one. When they first discovered the city and lit the torch it was EXACTLY the same.

I totally agree. The movie was great, but the Goofy short was annoying. Too long and not that funny really.

I thought the sequel was good, but not nearly as good as the first one.

My husband and I went to see it yesterday. We both really enjoyed it. There is a revisit of a special effect...but it didn't take away from the movie.
