Amalia,
I know that during recruitment I asked if any family members were greek to see if they knew a lot about sororities or nothing at all. It is really just pure curiosity and no logical reason (none that i can think of). Sigma, as in most sororities, is all about being yourself, so that is my advice. Just talk to sisters, and let them get to know you. Good luck with everything, keep us posted. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.

I'm glad to hear of your interest in Sigma! my only advice would be to be yourself and ask about what you're interested in. i hope you enjoy your recruitment overall as well as in the Tri Sigma house!
