Megan Fox to be Catwoman, Angelina not amused.

Although I think Angelina could bring some meat to the role, I think Megan would do...maybe.


The 23-year-old star has reportedly signed on to appear in the sequel to 'The Dark Knight' alongside Christian Bale and Sir Michael Caine.

The movie will be directed by Christopher Nolan and is due for release in 2011.

Megan will be following in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, who have both donned the iconic leather catsuit in past films.

But the casting announcement is likely to anger Angelina Jolie, who was rumoured to be in negotiations for the role.

It's not the first role Megan - who bears a striking resemblance to the 'Changeling' star - has taken from Angelina.

The Sun broke this story, the same tabloid that said Eddie Murphy was cast as The Riddler in the next film. That was denied as well. In fact, I believe Nolan went on record saying that he would not be doing Catwoman in any of his movies.

I remember reading the in June 2009 issue of Entertainment Weekly (EW) that Johnny Depp was being considered for the role of the Riddler.
