What is the sweetest thing a guy(or girl) has ever done for you?

Surprised me with a single white rose on Founders' Day...he knows and loves me enough to know that the gesture meant the world to me.

I'm just dying for it all to be over!! 13 days left of class and finals, three and a half weeks till graduation, four and a half weeks till the wedding. Then a week of honeymoon, a week off, and a week of orientation for my new job (the orientation is in another state I might add!). And, we're moving into our duplex the day of my last final. I just want it to be two months from now!!!!!!

Some unsolisited advice, if I may: don't wish your life away. (Hey, that rhymes). Just take each as it comes, and enjoy it for its own worth.

My exboyfriend was a doll on our six month anniversary. He picked me up and drove me out to this park where I worked. While we sat in the car, we talked and then he surprised me with a bottle of wine that had been engraved,'Best Wishes Amy and Derek 10-2-99'
Then we sat in the dark and sipped on the wine.
After we had a glass he drove me to the Old Market area. There we walked around until we came upon the horse drawn carriages. He paid for the gentleman to take us on a ride around the Old Market while we snuggled under a heavy blanket. That was my dream date and he did it all for me.
Wow...I miss him now.

For our wedding anniversary a few years ago, my husband took our wedding album to the florist and had her duplicate the flowers in my bouquet in an arrangement. He's a wonderful guy but not usually very creative in the romantic department so I was really touched by the gesture :-)

Well...my ex-boyfriend (whom I had gone out with for 4 years) proposed...but I felt like I was too young (I'm only 18!!!!) to settle down so quickly and live a marriage. It was very sweet of how he planned it, and how much work he put in...but it just was not the right timing!!

one of my ex boyfriends did the sweetest thing! i was anticipating v-day for sooo long b/c he had told me 2 weeks before something about a present he was MAKING me! Anyway, It was a little book that is wrapped in this really soft material with dried flowers in the middle of the cover with glass over it, and the front page was a picture of us two that he had gotten made at Kinkos so it looks like it was painted with water colors.. inside are a bunch of sweet poems that he wrote, and the last page has a ton of little phrases that mean something to the two of us, and then a couple more pictures. I have never had a guy spend so much time making something for me like that! I still have it!

out of the blue one time, when I was having a really bad day, my boyfriend (now a loooong ago ex..) handed me this ornate bottle. In it were all these tiny little pieces of construction paper shaped like hearts, stars, etc.. He said "each one of these is a thought I had of you today..."
He sat there and cut all those darn things out!! It was so unbelieveable!

Well, my boyfriend and I have been together for almost SEVEN YEARS now!!! Well, about a year after we had started dating he painted the border in his bedroom with the rasta colors; red, yellow, and green (he loved, and still likes, reggae). Then within the colored border he painted "I Love Chrissy" all the way around and dotted the eyes with soccer balls. (I love soccer...though I haven't played in years). Anyway, that was years ago. We were real young so it was cute then. I wouldn't want that now of course, but the memory is good. Around the same time he had made me a birthday cake (Chocolate on choclate) cut out into a number one and number eight and had eighteen soccer ball candles on it. He's quite creative. Needless to say, we're still going strong. I just turned 24 on April 22 and he made my birthday as special as ever...yet again.
I just thought I'd share the whole painting of the walls thing since it was unusual and unique.
