mama xi's!

i am the nmoc at lycoming right now

and my advice is....plan ahead, make sure you have yourself a set schedule, and involve your older sisters with advice, dont try to take it all on yourself, if you have an assistant, please use them.

Also BOND WITH YOUR NEW MEMBERS!!! its so worth it, they become your family even more so because u spend so much time with them, and they will admire you soo much because ur who they see all the time.

also i just got back all my evaluations from my girls and they asked: to have the older girls and the alumni more involved so they could get to know them better.

goodluck and congrats...its so much fun.

support the NMOC, give her lots of ideas, encourage new members to learn about the fraternity but make it fun too. attend meetings too because that way new members see alumnae aren't just "old ladies that sit around" but are active and perhaps it will instill them that being an AXiD isn't just for 4 years, it is for life!

Maggie,
I trained the NMOC's in GA, AL, and LA in our officer training a few months ago. I have the an extra paper copy and CD of the information. If you would like to, PM me your mailing address and I'll send it to you.
