For the girls: bra talk
I'm sure this will get some comments from the guys, but anyway...
I've given up finding cute bras that are reasonably priced. I'm also an odd size. Does anyone else share my pain?

My theory on cute bras: All of the bramakers got together and decided that if you're over a C-cup, you don't need fancy decorations and colors for your boobs to be attractive. They speak for themselves.

Freya!!!! They're the only company I know that makes cute bras, and they don't make anything smaller than a C cup. I love it.

Except you spend more on one bra than I do on my whole season's wardrobe.

I object to having to spend more than $40 on a bra. HELP me!

While we're talking about bras...I'm a A, barely a B. What I don't get is why there are "enhancing" bras that come in C and D. Come on now! I'm trying to look like I have something, so I pour my money into a VS bra with gel inserts, and cleavege inhancing, and blah blah blah, and then I find out they make the same thing in a D. How am I supposed to have good boobs when those born with good boobs are getting the same help!!!

I'm wear a large cup myself and before Victoria Secret, I usually have to buy ugly bras or in other words "Granny or Mom bras". (I invented the term after granny panties and Mom Jeans). Another scenario is when I found some attracting bras, they are cheap and not in good quality.

I have to say, a few of the VS bras I have really have held up. I'm too lazy to handwash them, but I do drip dry. Maybe it's the style that I got-nothing fancy, b/c I'm not paying that much just for a basic everyday bra. Then again a few I have seem to have lost their cup shape. It's like I've lost weight and now there is too much room in them, so the cup isn't full. You know? Anyway, I'll be checking out your suggestions.
For the 32 DDs out there-it is a hard size to find, so if you find it, buy 5! If you have the time to look, TJ Maxx has some good ones. Oh and for sports bras (D or DD), I recommend Champion. You can find them on sale at a dept. store like Macys.

I think VS bras stretch out more than others. They completely lose their shape like you said. I used to only buy VS until I discovered that there are other bras that are like $10 more but hold up a lot better.

I completely agree with that.
And this thread has been SO helpful to me. Thank you all for your suggestions!

Thanks for the Bare Necessities suggestion! They even tell you how many hooks run down the back (which is a big deal to me b/c I don't want it to look like I'm wearing armor!!)
