I'm a strong believer in the inverse law of sunglasses: The more I spend on them the faster I will loose or break them. Seriously, it never fails. Brand new pair of ridiculously expensive Revo's... Lost them in a week. Pair I bought from a beach vendor in Mexico... Still had them a couple of years later.
On that note, my current sunglasses are Mossimo from Target. I think they're darn cute and they were only $20.

I completely agree. I have a pair of Dolce's, but I barely wear them because I am so scared to break them/scratch them.
I have a pair from Forever21 that I wear everyday... They were FOUR bucks. I've gone through probably 3 pairs of sunglasses in the past year from Forever21 because I lose them! One pair I actually sat on when I was on the beach. Oops.

I have a pair of Chanel glasses, I got them on E bay... so they weren't full price... but still pricey... I've had them almost a year now, so I'm VERY proud of myself.
I also have a pair of Ralph Lauren glasses that were on sale at Macy's for like 25 that I wear when there is a possibility of losing my others.

Glitter- How reliable is ebay when it comes to having "real" designer things? I am always worried when I find things on there from Chanel, Gucci, etc. that they will be fake.

OMG I can't keep a pair of sunglasses to save my life. BUT I got a cute pair of Kenneth Cole Reaction sunglasses at Ross for $9.95. I've had them a month and haven't lost them. This could be a record.

If they state that they are genuine, and you find out otherwise, you can go through the E bay complaint process and get your money back.
Also mine came from an actual vendor that just happens to also sell on E bay,not a private person, they also have a regular webiste that I checked out, and a bricks and mortar location in Florida somwhere... so that made me trust it more.

I never pay more than $10 for sunglasses because I lose and/or break them constantly. I buy 3 pairs at a time because I know they won't last long.

Right now I have 3 pairs of sunglasses...and they each have a function.
I love my Bolles because of its polarized lenses. I use em all the time whenever I'm at the beach. The lenses keep the glares away!
Then there's my Ralph Laurens. I tend to use those whenever I'm dressed classier.
Then I have my Angels. Those are my casual every day ones.
Of the three, I have to say that the Ralphs are my favorite!

I have the same philosophy as 33girl. Right now I'm sporting a pair of black framed glasses that cost a total of $3. I've had them since February. Before them, I had an identical pair that also cost $3 and I had them for a few years.
I had a great pair of Dolce and Gabanna knockoffs that I got in NYC and I lost them
My boyfriend lost his Oakleys less than a year after getting them. I got him some Faux-kleys in NYC and he kept them for a few years - until they broke. His parents never noticed that the $100+ sunglasses they bought him were gone

I have a pair of BCBG sunglasses that I got for $30 through bluefly.com! They are black wrap arounds and they look like movie star sunglasses. I adore the coach sunglasses and the kate spade sunglasses but I can't justify buying another pair when these are still going strong.

Not a sorority girl, but my two favorite pairs of sunglasses are from DKNY and Ralph.

I have a pair of Oakleys that are great! Once, Brandon accidently sat on them and I yelled at him cause it appeared that he broke of the arms of them-- only when I looked closely I found out they could snap right back on! The $ I spent on these glasses were totally worth it.
