It all depends on your school, but yes, sororities almost always bid fewer women during informal rush than during formal recruitment. The only exception to this would be if a chapter is far below total, but this is rare.
Nobody can give you exact numbers -- even if they knew what school you go to -- since there is no quota system for informal recruitment. A sorority doesn't
have to take any set number of women during informal recruitment.
Don't be discouraged by the numbers though, even if a sorority bids fewer women during informal than formal recruitment, PNMs often find that informal recruitment events are lower pressure than formal recruitment. Many women feel that they are allowed to "shine" in a more relaxed environment than they would have with the craziness of formal recruitment parties. Have fun and good luck.
