I 'met' Bill too, well it was at a rally so there were no real intros but I did shake is very soft hand (lol) and I got his autograph! Love me some Bill!
I really wanted to catch Hillary in DC for her book signing but didn't make it (I think I was studying for the bar). But Lord knows I will catch her on her Hillary for President in 2008 campaign.. lol

Hmmmmm well all the people that mean anything to me are Reggae artists lol sooo.....

I met Wayne Wonder, Spragga Benz in 2000

Mr. Vegas in 2001

Sizzla (last night 10/23)

Master P (in the airport in ATL)

I met Sean Paul in 1999 & I cried like a small child afterwards. I was a HARDCORE fan b/f I knew what he looked like(which was usually the case w/ reggae artists pre-reggae videos).

I forgot I also met Hillary Clinton. She's much shorter in person than she seems. Since she visits Syracuse quite frequently since she's a senator, I met her one day when she was in one of her many offices. Her Syracuse office is one floor up from mine. She was really nice and all the admin staff got to take a pic. Maybe I'll find my pic and post for all to see.

i met Harrison Ford in a club a few years back. i almost walked past him and his homies (bodyguards) when my husband had to stop me and turn my head around.

when i was a child i met the late Phyllis Hyman and got her autograph. i also chased down Maurice Hines that same night. they were in a musical Sophisticated Ladies back in the early '80's i think.

I met Jimmy Jam and Vivica A. Fox at the Indiana Black Expo in 1999, I got a scholarship from them and they were some of the people that they were honoring.

Also this past weekend I had lunch with DJ Jazzy Jeff from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

All 3 of these people are so down to earth.

I met that dude from best man the light skinned one who was in mr hollands opus. Actually I was waiting outside of BJs early in the morning before it opened. I just happened to turn around and saw him, I was like "you're not really him are you?" and her replied "no I;m just a regular person like errone else." I said ok and turned right back around but ummmm it was him yall.
Who else?? a lot of Jamaican artists including the infamous SP who I met when I was like 12.... fellow caribbeans know how long he's been around.

Oh I met the girl from floetry [the one who can sing] she came into the store where I used to work and I asked her to sing for me and ........SHE DID!!!!
I dont think there any anymore. I did spot Black Thought from the roots early one morning .

Ohh I met Jimmy Jam at a Janet Jackson concert in the eary 90's! I was walking in the hallway with these girls from Scarsdale and we bumped into Rene (Janet's ex hubby) I didn't even recognize him but the Scarsdale chicks did, a/w he gave us front row seat tickets and we ended up next to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis!

Now the Scarsdale chicks were so hyped about being in the front row when we sat down they started introducing themselves to everyone..lol.. and asked Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis who they were..lol... I said "Duhhhh they only produced Janet's album" And he smiled and winked at me.... hee hee

oooohhh, I LOVE this topic 'cause it brings back some gooood memories!! I met my favorite artist and future husband MAXWELL twice!! The first time I met him was summer 98 (I think it was 98), the day after Embrya came out. I stood in line for EIGHT hours at his album signing (I was a SERIOUS fan back then), and not only did I get photos and an autograph, but I got a HUG!!! And he smells sooooooooo gooooood!!!!!!!!! The second time I met him was at the Puerto Rican Day parade at the beginning of June 99. I had just crossed a few weeks before, and I was already so happy getting ready to stroll in the parade for the first time with all of my sorors. All of a sudden my dean runs over to me, grabs my hand and starts running. She wouldn't tell me what it was, she just led me to a float, and then, there was MAXWELL, chillin on his float, which was waiting to enter the parade on the same block as us. We actually had a conversation with him for a while, which was nice, and I asked him if I could take a picture with him up on his float, but his idiot bodyguards said no. But it was still great to sit there and chat with him since I had been such a big fan for such a long time. I wonder if he's ever coming out with another album? (guess I should stop calling him my husband if I don't stay updated with such vital info lol)
