just wanted to let everyone know, there are photos posted on the zta national website that are from THIS convention(just click the convention icon). don't know how often they are being updated-but it was fun to see what is going on and what we are missing.

I'm anxious to hear back, too. I think that the FL ZTA Day may have qualified for a ZTAF award...!

you certainly worked and prepared hard enough for fl zeta day.

heard thru the grapevine that unc-chapel hill won the helen margaret harrison award and that u of f was 2nd runner up to the #2 overall collegiate prize. but don't quote me on that!!

I'm back from Convention!!! It was a great time, although tiring. The hotel was nice, although I wish I could have seen more of the outside! Since they shortened it one day, we had virtually no free time. Geralynn Lucas was an amazing speaker and too cute for words. She was so excited to be initiated into ZTA. My alumnae chapter, Inland/ Pomona also won Crown Chapter!! We started the chapter two years ago, so it was really exciting for us.

Helen Margaret Harrison Award did go to Theta Tau, UNC-Chapel Hill. I'm not sure about 2nd runner up. I believe 3rd runner up was Gamma Pi-Georgia.

Florida Zeta Day was a winner, I want to say 2nd or 3rd place, but don't quote me on that.

If you haven't heard, 2008 is in Tucson, Arizona at the J.W. Marriott Resort and Spa. It looks beautiful in the pictures.

I also got to meet LaRue for a brief time before one of our business meetings.

If anyone has any more questions about convention, I'd be glad to try and answer.

Did you happen to see our pink ribbon pins in the boutique? I'm wondering if they sold out again this year.

Oy - Tuscon in July? That'll be about as bad as Palm Springs in 2000! HOT doesn't even come close.

I have a little info from an email I received this morning from my alumnae chapter pres.

YAY for Geralyn's special initiation! She's always so excited & happy to see us at NYC breast cancer awareness events.
