Too paranoid about razor bumps, the scourge of black men everywhere.

I thought black guys plucked their facial hair. This isn't true?

American Indians are supposed to do that via lore.
Or was is not have facial and body chest hair?
.
Oh that clueds leg hair if you are into it? That is for Ladies!
If you have bumps, use electric if not wow, use straight razor throw aways.
If not old enough to use either, then well, _____!?

It may be lore but it's not true in my personal experiences. My grandpa was full-blooded cherokee and he had a mustache when he died. My dad is half Irish/half-cherokee and also has a mustache. Maybe they are freaks of nature, but it's just better to not make sweeping generalizations of groups of people. Oh and to make this on topic, my dad uses the braun electric razor that is self cleaning (had the really cool commercial out last year I believe). I got it for him for Christmas when he decided to switch from a blade.

it is true that many (not sure about all tribes) native american men plucked the hair from their faces as well as their head.
i don't think tom was making a generalization. he was stating a fact. i would think that modern native american indians wouldn't do this practice, but it was standard practice several generations ago.

Some this is true for. A friend of mine has a lot of Cherokee blood. He can appear clean shaven if he shaves about every week or two.

Magic Powder! That stuff is fun-kay!
My uncles used it when I was little...my father didn't, but he must be the only Black man in America who isn't plagued by razor bumps. Incidentally enough, he's part Seminole and Creek.

Nah. It takes awhile to get used to and I don't shave 'up', like against the direction it grows in. Plus I'm not an extremely hairy guy.

I'm using the M3 razor right now. The best I've used was one of those razors that vibrates. Works surprisingly well. Unfortunately, the one I used allowed water to leak into the battery compartment so it was not so good.
