I just bought Savannah from Savannah from B&N. Here's the jist of the book....
Winning a fiction contest for unpublished novelists seems like a dream come true for graduate student Savannah Phillips-until she discovers that her pushy mother, the former Miss Georgia, arranged for her to win. After declining the award, Savannah returns home and takes a job as a human-interest writer for the Savannah Chronicle. Her first story, investigating a rigged beauty pagent, leads Savannah on an adventure filled with laughter and tears, and the fledgling journalist becomes a true steel magnolia. This first novel from a Nashville author is smart and witty chick lit. Recommended for public libraries and Southern fiction collections.
This one just caught my eye so I'll let you know how it turns out.
