I am thinking of getting it, but I dont have a land phone line. I know you need one so the tivo can call in and get program info. but I live in the same building as my mom and I figure I can splice hers and run it up to my house for the tivo.
now, my ? is, how does tivo get hooked up to the directv?
i'm tired of using vcr tapes to tape my shows. its a PITA to program the vcr.!!!
