Fannie Farmer

I made crepes this weekend! I was talking to this guy and he was telling me how easy they are to make, so I tried them with a recipe in my mom's 1951 Fannie Farmer Cook Book. So after I made the crepes (which were good enough for me!) I got REALLY excited about this cook book. See, I'm not much of a chef, but I am sloooowwwly but surely learning how to do a lil somethin in the kitchen.

Does anyone else own the Fannie Farmer Cook Book? (any edition -- it's been out since 1896)

Re: Fannie Farmer

I love it! It's the cookbook I used all through college, and I still have it although it's now in pieces.

I also highly recommend How to Cook Everything by Mark Bittman.
