J&W Colony in need of lots of help
Hello Future sisters of Tri-Sigma,
I am looking ideas to promote tri-sigma on our small campus, we became a colony last year on January 10th 2004 and recruitment has been a challange ever since, we were 17 strong when we colonized and have constasntly gone up and down in our numbers. We only wish we could find a way to reach out to the women on our campus. Another sorority colinized the same day as us and has held strong throughout and will be installing 2 weeks from now. We held formal recruitment in december and had a very low turn out of only 12 women of those 12 only 10 were matched , 3 to us and 7 to AST. with the adition of those numbers we were at 16 10 shy of where headquarters wants us to be in order to install. As of last night we lost another sister due to the time comitment of being a colony member being too much and our tri sigma spirit in a whole has decreased severely. It pains my heart to see our sister constantly be told by hedquarters that we are not going to install again we have had 4 potenal insitillation dates and it has changed everytime because the numbers aren't there (our last goal for instillation). We need to get our number to where headquarters would liek by february or they are considering pulling out from our campus. I would hate for this to happen because of all the hard work and dedication we have put into this beautiful organization. If anyone can help with any ideas in any way we would all appreciate it so much.
