At what costs would the JEWELS be pleased, or do you believe the JEWELS to be happy w/the direction ALPHAMEN are leading ALPHA at this very present time, as we approach the 100th Birthday of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc? Judgement is not being passed by this here brother, but I am curious to know the opinions of YOU my fellow and beloved ALPHA BROTHER. Remember, I aint heavy I am just your brother.

Secondly, please accept my humble opinion of this great fraternity of ours. I anticipate disagreement; yet I hope it occurs with that good 'ol ALPHA SPIRIT.

I believe OUR JEWELS would be generally proud of us. THEY were all realist; and they understood the fact that everything must change.
2)" Would the JEWELS be concerned about other organizations?
I believe THEY would be concerned about the other organizations because THEIR concern WAS the standard of life for ALL AFRICAN-AMERICANS. In fact, the need to uplift us and to unite us as a race was the motivating factor for our founding.
3)Would the JEWELS be weary of the MIP? OUR JEWELS were great judges of character; but they understood how life in america was such that it awarded those whose greatest assets included the ability to act. Therefore, they had their own method for discerning those that were worthy and those that weren't. They went through great lengths to make good brothers; and one can find plenty of allusions to their process in the first three chapters of our illustrious history. If you weren't an "unhappy victim" before you saw THE LIGHT, then you aint no brother of mine!!!!!!!
4) THE JEWELS believed in respecting our women.
5)Considering the state of affairs of "Black America", I think THE JEWELS would be proud of the agenda of ALPHA PHI ALPHA in 2005. There is much about the current state of ALPHA PHI ALPHA that they would have problems with; some things, I think, would force them to make immediate changes. I think, however, that they would be satisfied overall with where we are today.
