Questions for all Greeks
Greeting Sorors and all Greeks. Just out of curiousity I was wondering how many of you guyz were members of GreekChat BEFORE you were members of your greek organization. If you were not a (greek) member when you joined GreekChat, did you find anyone who belonged to your organization that helped you out?? If so who??? Before I became a Delta, I recieved encouraging words, as well as WONDERFUL advice from Soror CRIMSONCREAM
Anyone else???

I was 'round GC for quite awhile before I crossed. A lot of folks were helpful, but I would have to say that Sorors AKA2D'91 and Ideal08 taught me the most. I never really asked them questions directly, but I learned A LOT about discretion and humility through answers I saw them give other interests and by searching through their old posts.

Girl, I mean, Soror I didn't even know that! I'm shocked! I guess what I've been saying actually IS valuable information. You know some try to make it seem as if what we do or say is too harsh and the like. I'm sorry, I am a REALIST. I don't sugarcoat anything when it comes to the 3 letters on my chest and IN MY HEART. If what I say can help someone and lead them in the right direction, then my work is not in vain and those who don't agree...TFB! For AKA is a Serious Matter and some just won't understand!
I apologize DST moderators for the little tangent.
SW Soror, SW!

Hi Sorors,
The people who helped me the most in my quest for Delta were (((drum roll please)))!!!
Sorors 12dn94dst, CrimsonTide4, DirectorDST99, and the411. They don't cut any corners or pull any punches when it comes to our sorority. When I was a prospective I learned to be humble. Now that I am a Delta, I understand why we (Delta's) are this way. There are no shortcuts to Delta and these women helped me to understand that. Thanks Sorors.

Thank you Soror!!
Soror Chicken Little, I was gald that I was able to help you. I was probably just as excited as I you were when you crossed!!
Remember this question is for ALL Greeks. It's good to see that we can be there for the people that are interested in our organzations. I also noticed how some people received help just from reading different posts, questions, and responces!
OOOOO-OOOOPPPP Soror!!!!!

before greekchat was thought of....
there were 3 people that were very encouraging in and during my process.
one was at the time and still is a very good friend that was a Alpha Sweet heart. she taught me to learn the greek alphabet.
one was my cousin who is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha (old school) he kept me on my toes.
the third was someone i considered to be my mentor, because she was down to earth and push me to my full potential. (i don't think she even knew) and she was a friend and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha. she always had encouraging words or spiritual advice at hand.
