Buying Letters
I got a new lil' sis from one of the colonies, and she LOVES frogs, which is totally cute. I really want to get her sewn letters that have frog material, but I cannot find frogs anywhere, anyother animal you got a deal, but no frogs, how can I do this? I cannot sew, don't know how. I really need help! Thanks!

sory to barge, but what you can do is go to any fabric store like JoAnn's and buy frog print fabric (you'll need about 1/4 of a yard to make a set of 4" letters) and you can give it to any Greek Store and ask them to make the letters for you

Too bad you don't live near me. Delta Pi's mascot was frogs. I got all my letters from a greek store, called University Spirt, and they had several frog fabrics, but they don't have an online store.
I do know though if you have any time of greek store near you that does letters, most of them will let you bring in your own fabric for a small charge. Walmart has tons of frog fabrics.

Yeah one of my girls dropped;-( and my other isn't very talkative by email, and I have yet to get her on the phone. So I have no real idea about her personality, so I don't know what to get her. I really want to get some Lilly letters made, like from that otehr thread, but I have no idea if that's her personality, I would love them though;-) Maybe I'll just do solids to be safe.

I did 2 shirts standard.
One is a short sleeve white shirt, with green letters outline with yellow.
The other is longsleeve green shirt, yellow letter outline with white.
I got them from designergreek.com

You are only required to do one shirt, i think. I did 2 b/c I had a coupon for a discount after a 2nd shirt.
I agree spoiling them is fun, but can be expensive, lol. I am also trying to balance what she is getting.. I have been sending cards, but she will probably get a few gifts once they are done , all together.

Sorry to crash. I had a diamond sister (aka "little) who loved frogs, so I bought her little froggie things, whether or not I could put letters on them... she knew they were from me and ADPi, so it made it special.
Yes, go buy fabric at a craft store and give it to the Greek Store to make her shirt.
Another diamond sis I had loved Ladybugs, so I did the same with her gifts... as an alum, I still find myself buying her birthday stuff with Ladybugs.
Another good friend and sorority sister LOVES hello kitty, but we won't go there!
