Has anyone here been diagnosed with endometriosis? If so, what treatments have you had? What medications are you taking? What has worked, what hasn't worked? I realize this is kind of a private thing, so if you want to PM, I'm desperate to find some answers!
ETA: Sorry I just saw another thread on this but can't delete it.

My husband's cousin took Danazol, which has male hormones in it, and her husband--who had some kind of sperm count problem--took Clomid, which has female hormones. Boy, were they fun to be with at that time but it worked for them and they have 2 daughters now.
It runs in my family. I've had the surgery three times (think of it as a tiny vacuum through your navel!), and been on various forms of the pill for it.
It only gets dangerous when
1) You want children, and the tissue has blocked your tubes (hence, the vacuuming!) or
2) You're menopausel (sp?) and the uterine lining is too thick from the endometriosis - it's then considered pre-cancerous.
Once diagnosed, you really cannot afford to miss even one year's yearly exam, though - better safe than sorry!

psssttt..... If someone's PM box is full, try using the email function! Click on their profile, then click on email - and be sure to tell them that they need to clean out their PM boxes!
Oh, feel free to pass it on!
