2004 MLB Season

Alrite, there has been a thread on the NBA season, which is now over. I want to know who is everyone's team, who thinks who got jipped on the all star game, etc etc....

First I'm a huge Dodger and Red Sox fan, love both teams ever since i was a kid...

I've lived and died with the Yankees from the day I was born. My dad is a diehard, and raised me as such. There's already an All-Star thread, so I won't get into that, but I will say it's been a hell of a season so far. A lot of the younger guys are stepping up, and it's pretty interesting to see it all unfold.

I'm looking forward to seeing B.J. Upton and how he does as the starting shorstop for the Devil Rays in the second half. If he's as good as they say he is, there'll be a big reason to watch Tampa Bay games.

I hate how the fans vote for the all-stars, Giambi is so not deserving! Sosa too come to think of it...

Totally agree with you on the Giambi vote, I do agree with the Sosa though, just due to history and the 500 HR club...

TRADE NOMAR FOR KHALIL EVERYDAY

Seriously though, the Pads are solid - would they be better w/ Oliver Perez though? He's ridiculous in the Pitts . . . Discuss.

I'm a Braves fan and will be even if this is the year they can't win the Division.

I watched the boston/Atlanta series this last week and it was amazing.

Boston would be my AL team and the Cards aren't bad either, can't stand the Evil Empire, and the A's are up in my like list.

What's up with the Ranger's?

Indians Fan. It's cool that the team is not far behind Chicago and Minnesota in the A.L. Central Division.

There is talk of a possible trade after the allstar break...

do you think this can happen ?

Or do you think it will end up like A-rod even though Randy has said publicly he doesn't want to play for the Yankees?

No way! We'll keep Khalil here, thank you very much!

Seriously, as much as I loved Ollie when he was here, I think it was better for him to leave and *find himself* on a new team. The Pads have done a pretty solid job of finding good solid pitchers that keep us in ballgames (Peavy's game last night was an aberration....once he's back in his groove he'll be doing pretty well).

Now, I would like to see Giles *heat up* a little more....he hasn't impressed me with his offense OR his defense recently.

Huge Mets fans here and I'm just so glad they're not in the basement this year! I enjoyed watching them sweep the Yankees over the weekend.

Now if the Red Sox can just catch up the Yankees.
