Convention!
Not just AGD's *awesome* centennial celebration, but everyone else's!
If I calculate correctly, more than half the NPC groups had convention this summer.
Who went? What did you think? Did your "Gamma Chi" (Greek Chat) members get together? The Alpha Gams did!

While I didn't attend the Kappa Kappa Gamma Convention in Kansas City in June, Kappa did announce our first national philanthropy, Reading is Fundamental, so that is very exciting news for all!

AST went to Savannah and adopted a National Service Project, Habitat for Hummanity. Our next convention is to be at Disney World in 2006.

I went!!!
Of course, the major event of convention was my initiation.
Ok, right... to answer your question, yes, several of us GCers got together at our convention in Chicago a month ago. Four of us GCers were able to meet up briefly. There were a couple more GCers around, but we weren't able to locate them after the Pink Carnation Dinner.
I wasn't eligible to attend all of the convention events, but it looks like fun! Our next convention is in Arizona in 2006 - I am so there!

Phi Mu had our convention in Washington DC in July and all I can say is AWESOME!!!
Our next will be in Nashville TN - 2006...can't wait.
I know that going to conventions can be a little expensive but it is well worth the money. It really gives you a different view of your sisterhood and it is amazing to be around so many women that share a common bond!!!

Chi Omega's Convention was the last week of June at the Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio, TX. I did attend (along with 1300 of my Sisters) & loved every minute of it.
I did meet someone from our Hooties Yahoo website -- I must admit I felt a bit foolish when I introduced myself, "Hi, I'm Nut...Nut Brown Hair..."

Delta Phi Epsilon's 2004 Convention was in San Antonio, Texas! I had a great time. Since I live in San Antonio, I didn't have far to go. My grandmother was initated at Convention so it will always hold fond memories for me.
I also went to Chi Omega's Convention the weekend before DPhiE's--as the delegate for DPhiE to the Panhellenic Luncheon. Chi O gave me the cutest DPhiE note pad! That was my third convention panhellenic lunch, but the first time a group gave me something that represented MY sorority. It was a first class event--way to go Chi O!

AOII's Leadership Institute was this summer, and I think we had 10-12 GCers in attendance. I hope to meet a lot more at Convention 2005 in Hotlanta!

Alpha Sigma Alpha's convention is going on at the moment. It's in Bonita Springs, FL. Unfortunately I was not able to go because of summer school but hopefully I'll get to go in 2006!
