Those of us not at Convention this week

For those of us unable to make it to Convention this week, what are we all up to?

I personally am packing for my move in 3 weeks... I am not being horribly quick about this though... I really need to kick the packing into gear...

Working, working, working. Plus that would be a long plane ride for a 3-4 day conference. I'll just go next time.

Getting info for my Guild girls for rush! Trying to get alums names here in town for the various sororities. Right now I'm working on two girls going to UGA, one girl going to LaGrange, four to Georgia Southern University, three to Valdosta State, and one to Auburn. Several of the girls don't have any Greeks in their families, so I'm doing a lot of legwork (online!) and walking them through the process, helping them get what they need.

But I'd rather be doing that than packing to move!!

Sulking, sulking, sulking!

This is my first day back at work since Thursday. While I was gone, someone used my desk, spilled coffee (I'm thinking cappaccino, from the smell) all over it & didn't mop it up (I had to use a putty knife to scrape it off!!), got my ADPi mouse pad nasty-dirty, messed up my data base and has gone through everything. I'm not a happy camper!! So, that's what happens when I miss a couple days!

Working mostly. For one day I will be going to the state convention for Eastern Star but other then that I will just be working and hanging out. Oh, and trying to catch up on sleep. I am exhausted for some reason.

I am working like crazy (or its more like my work is making me crazy)...I had my tub refinished yesterday (might I add it looks AWESOME)...I have a doctors appointment tomorrow...

and then on Saturday I am volunteering for the "King for Kids" Bikeathon- it is an event LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers is sponsoring. LeBron was born and raised here in Akron!! My best ADPi sister is coordinating the volunteers and tons of other things through her position with the Akron YMCA...so I am getting up to sign-in volunteers at 6am with her and then signing in bicyclists at 7am. Then I will be off to my second job at 10am!!

Whew-- I am tired just typing that!

I'm amazed by all the moving going on! My pet theory about why so many people have additions to their houses is that Americans tend to have so much stuff, they would rather add on to their house than face the whole moving process!
