It's here!
Guess what was sticking out of my door/mail slot when I got home this evening from work?! None other than my copy of the Summer Issue of To Dragma!! When's the next one coming?!
Hope everyone who is at convention is having a great time. You will definitely have to give us all the details.
Roses!

LOL, you sound *so* much like me!
My To Dragma was in my post-vacation mail pile. I tossed everything else aside, quickly looked through it and thought "that's it? I want more stuff!"
Hurry home, Conventioners. You are deeply missed!
Roses,
Christin

I was kinda disappointed there weren't many actual articles in this issue. . . . I think that's why I went through it so quickly. It was nice to see all the chapters saluting an adviser, but I like articles I did, of course, have to find myself on the list. Number 40
I simply LOVED the cover picture!
How was Walt Disney World, Christin?

I didn't see you in there, Sarah! Time to re-re-read it
We had a great vacation, and thanks for asking! Disney World as a whole rocked. The Magic Kingdom was our only real disappointment of the trip, although we saw everything we wanted (and were able to do multiple trips on Big Thunder, Space and the super cool Buzz Lightyear ride.) It was just painfully crowded the 3 different days we tried touring there, compared to the other parks. Many MK attractions needed some freshening up and general updating. The other 3 parks looked much cleaner, nicer and more modern in comparison. Youngest son rode all 3 mountains though, even though I only ride one (Big Thunder, my favorite WDW ride ever!!!) He also did Star Tours repeatedly and Body Wars. Brave kid. All the boys really loved Disney MGM. We were there during the last Star Wars weekend and had a blast! The Safari in Animal Kingdom was just stunning, and the stage shows in AK and MGM were brilliant. Words cannot express Fantasmic at MGM. If you ever go to Disney World, do not miss Fantasmic. Worth every moment of the 2+ hour wait.
After 9 days with the Mouse, we headed to Universal for 3 days/2 nights. We loved both Universal parks. The best theme park ride I have ever ridden, hands down, is the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure. Sheer entertainment perfection, the combo of actual ride, 3D graphics and special effects were nothing short of amazing.
I'd like to thank United Airlines for giving us an additional night in Orlando on their dime, even though we were desperately exhausted and ready to come home after 12 days of fun. Airplane safety IS key, of course (they needed to replace a part and had to fly it in from Miami or Chicago or somewhere, and the flight wouldn't leave Orlando in time to make our connection.) Sure, free meals for 5 and connecting rooms along with a first class connection the next morning was nice, but home never looked so good (especially with that To Dragma waiting in the mail pile!)

Exciting
Yesterday I went to go and check my mail and I was so surprised to see my very first copy of 'To Dragma'. I have been waiting and waiting for it to come. And I can’t wait until I have enough time to relax and sit down and read it from cover to cover. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, I know I am. Cant wait until I go back to school for fall formal rush, it will be my first time.

Hmmm, time to raid the chapter house to read it and see my sisters that are in it, especially those from my chapter. Wonder where mine is.

Figuring I'm in Orlando right now and won't be back until about midnight I can only HOPE that mine is there as well!
Sarah
P.S. Christin, I'm thinking of coming to your neck of the woods next week before flying down to Nashville (hint: Silver, could I come early and stay with you for a day or so before LI?). . . .

I think my postlady likes to hide it from me before she delivers it!
I never get it when I should *l*
