Haha! Tuna salad has no power over me!

Well, I just got the best news ever this morning...
I passed the Florida Bar Exam!!! Both the Florida and Multistate sections - I'm all ready to be admitted. I just have to take the Oath of Attorney, and that's it, I'm an attorney! Yay for me!!!
So what does the thread title "Tuna Salad has no power over me!" have to do with this?

Well, like most other things in my life, the bar exam did not go exactly as planned. I got a wicked case of food poisoning the night before the exam. Bought an ill-fated tuna salad sandwich and spent the next 8 hours experiencing the torture known as Death By Mayonnaise. Between trying to puke up all of my internal organs and the jackhammers across the street (don't ask), I didn't sleep much at all.

Needless to say, I barely made it to the test. My friend pretty much carried me to the convention center and i was barely able to even keep my head up for the whole exam. So I was legitimately worried about my score.

But I passed anyway, hooray! I kept the receipt from the Tuna Sandwich of Death - I think I'll frame it. A tip for anyone traveling to Tampa, Florida - don't buy food from the downtown Radisson!

(edited to fix teeny "grammer" error )

Actually, it's weird. I can still eat tuna, no problem, as long as it's plain. At least NO MAYONNAISE.

It's mayonnaise that gives me the heebie-jeebies. The smell, oh wow, it still makes me queasy. Mayonnaise on anything, yech. I never really liked it much before, but now I can't even look at it or smell it. I now have mayonnaisephobia.

We have a sandwich shop in my office bldg and some guy behind me in line last week had a tuna salad sandwich. He pressed down on the bread a little (I don't know why he was feeling up his sandwich) and the tuna salad squished out the side of the bread. I thought I was going to lose it right there.

Tuna tuna tuna tuna tuna tuna fish,
How I love to eat a giant can of tuna fish!
Congratulations, G8rAlphaXi, Esq.! (Traditionally, those who are admitted to the bar are accorded the honorific, Esquire, or Esq.)

Congratulations!!!!! I am thrilled for you!
And your overcoming a potential death-by-tuna episode is so inspiring that I think Alpha Xi Deltas everywhere would do well to incorporate your experience in a rush skit...

Congratulations! One of my teachers is a circuit court judge in Pinellas county, and he told us that the bar exam results came in today. He said he saw a lot of happy people, and a few devastated ones. How exciting for you! On a side note, I pass by the Radisson every day on my way to work...thanks for the tip, I'll eat lunch elsewhere!

Congrats! I'm hoping that this was for the February bar, and not the one in July of last year...that'd be one hell of a wait!
I take my bar exam next summer, at the end of July, and results come out in October.

 Again, congratulations!
